Your Toronto Zoo is committed to welcoming all guests to experience the Zoo. We have many accessible features available including accessible parking spaces, all pavilions are wheelchair accessible, free wheelchairs, automated entry systems on washroom and pavilion doors, ramps in lieu of stairs, washrooms for people with special needs, accessible seats available on rides such as Zoomobile and carousel rides (standard ride fees will apply) and reserved wheelchair spaces in our Waterside Theatre.
In addition, the Zoo has an admission package for people with disabilities whereby a guest with a disability receives a 50% admission discount and, if required, one accompanying support worker receives complimentary admission.

Accessibility & Rentals Hub
KultureCity® Sensory Bags
Guests can request a sensory bag from our Accessibility Hub (rental station just inside our front entrance) during their visit to the Zoo. Guests will be asked to sign out the bags. Bags must be returned to Accessibility Hub at the end of each visit and are sanitized before the next use. Bags include noise-reducing headphones, sunglasses, fidget toys, and visual cue cards.

- Single Stroller - $8.00 + tax - One Child
- Double Stroller - $10.00 + tax - Up to Two Children
- Carry-All Wagon - $8.00 + tax - Up to Two Children

- Electric Convenience Vehicle (ECV) - $30.97 + tax - One Adult (18+)
Electric Convenience Vehicle (ECV) Reservation
ECVs used for mobility purposes due to a medical condition are permitted. General scooters are not permitted at the Zoo. The Zoo has a limited capacity of ECVs that can be reserved in advance for mobility purposes. Guests must be at least 18 years of age to operate an ECV. The maximum weight limit of the ECV is 350lbs. or 400lbs. depending on availability of units. To reserve an ECV please select a date and complete your reservation details.
Please be advised that there are steep grades on the site and some of the gradual grades do not meet current accessibility standards. In particular, access to the Canadian Domain is via a steep hill and is not recommended for guests in wheelchair or use of electric scooters. The Zoo evaluates the accessibility of our buildings and grounds on an on-going basis to improve the experience for all our guests.

Adventure Access Pass (NEW)
The Adventure Access Pass supports guests and members who may have significant trouble standing/waiting in line at the Zoomobile, Conservation Carousel, Tundra Air Ride, or Gorilla Climb ropes course.
To use an Adventure Access Pass, ask an employee at the Rentals and Accessibility Hub for a pass: they will give you a lanyard with an entry time to access the ride or adventure based on current wait-times on site. To learn more, ask one of our staff members at the Rentals and Accessibility Hub!
Accessibility Programs
Toronto Zoo is a proud 'Inclusion Partner' in MagnusCards®, a FREE mobile app that support independent community living for autistic and neurodiverse people. MagnusCards presents step-by-step visual guides for day-to-day activities in the form of virtual Cards Decks. As an Inclusion Partner, Toronto Zoo has it's very own Toronto Zoo Card Decks that will prepare and personally assist autistic individuals and neurodiverse people through zoo activities like: Entering the Zoo, Indo-Malaya Pavilion, African Rainforest Pavilion, and Getting Help at the Zoo.

Access 2 Program
The Toronto Zoo has partnered with Easter Seals Canada and is now a participant in the Access2 program. The Access2 program provides a dignified and positive entertainment experience for people with disabilities who require the support of an attendant. Program participants receive Access2 wallet cards which allow simple identification, removing the onus to explain their need for an attendant. While you do not need to be a subscriber to the Access2 program to receive the People With Disability (PWD) admission package, upon presentation of Access2 card or self-declaration of disability with Guest Services staff, cardholder or person with disability receives 50% admission discount while their support worker receives complimentary admission.
In addition to the Toronto Zoo the Access 2 card is accepted at the Art Gallery of Ontario, Casa Loma, the CN Tower, Ontario Place, the Ontario Science Centre, the Royal Ontario Museum, as well as Cineplex Entertainment, Empire Theatres and Landmark Cinemas. First Aid & Family Centre
This centre is located between the African Rainforest Pavilion and Africa restaurant. Lost children are brought to the Family Centre. The First Aid & Family Centre is available for baby changing and feeding along with privacy for nursing mothers. This centre also offers first aid with private treatment areas available for visitors who require personal care.
